About Us

The Church of God is established by Second Coming Christ

The World Mission Society Church of God was established by second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong in South Korea in 1964. Since that time, the Church of God has carried out the mission to restore all the truths of the new covenant taught by Jesus Christ. Through restoring the truths of the new covenant, the Church of God aspires to bring hope and comfort to all mankind, leading them into the arms of God.

The Church of God is established worldwide with over 175 churches.

Since being established in the United States in 2000, the Church of God expanded across the nation in a short period of time. From the humble beginnings of a house church in 2004 in Castle Rock, the Church of God expanded to a church building in 2005 in Northglenn. After continuous growth, the church branched out again to another church building in 2010 on 8th Avenue and Holly Street near Downtown Denver. In 2019, a larger church building was acquired in Wheat Ridge near I-70 and Kipling Street. Currently, the Church of God in Wheat Ridge serves as the headquarters for the West Central Region of the United States. The members from and around Cheyenne, WY to Pueblo, CO to Salt Lake City, UT and Wichita, KS all gather to Wheat Ridge, CO for major events and Bible education.

The Church of God keeps and preaches the New Covenant established by Jesus

Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ established and kept the New Covenant along with his disciples. The gospel of the New Covenant such as the Sabbath day and the Passover were preached throughout the first few centuries as Christ commanded. However, after the apostles, the truth began to be changed and disappeared one by one. Now, in this age, where lawlessness is widespread, only the Church of God is keeping the truth of the New Covenant restored by Jesus Himself who came again a second time.

The Church of God carries out good deeds

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16)

Not only does the church of God focus on studying the Bible and preaching the good news about Christ, but we also want to share love with our neighbors and our loved ones. Following the teachings of Christ, we strive to carry out many activities such as disaster relief, charitable concerts, emergency funds, ... , to shine good deeds before others, hoping everyone could feel the love of Mother through the church and come to receive the blessings of the Kingdom of Heaven.
